Forge Hockey Academy Information and General Conduct

Who We are:

Forge Hockey Academy LLC is a premier hockey training program designed by two passionate coaches who saw a need to teach the game of hockey to the next generation, the right way.

What we do:

At Forge Hockey Academy, we hold our players to a high standard on and off the ice. We teach the game of hockey and how to be successful on the ice while interweaving the character development needed to be successful in playing the game of hockey and more importantly, beyond the game itself. Our players will develop with us a strong work ethic, a dedication to the sport, a knowledge of the game, a reason behind each and every drill, and a plan on how to be successful a the next level. Taking our experiences of playing in the Division 1 college hockey ranks and the professional ranks, we are excited to share our knowledge of what it takes to be successful in the game. As coaches at the Tier 1, and prep school level we are able to leverage our networks of experiences to help make this camp life-changing for each participant.

Payment:

All program tuition payments will be received, in total, up front before our first ice session. Failure to pay will result in an inability to participate in our on- or off-ice programming. Program tuition payments are non-refundable.

Program Expectations and Rules:

In preparation for competing at the high school, college, and professional levels, we expect each participant to follow and meet our program rules and expectations. They are as follows:

  • Participants will arrive on time for all on- and off-ice activities
  • Participants will abstain from using profanity
  • Participants will treat with respect all members of the coaching staff, rink facility members, and parental units
  • Participants will work hard and challenge themselves to try new things and learn as much as they can each and every day
  • Players must always display good sportsmanship and play in the spirit of the game.
  • Players’ actions must never deliberately jeopardize the safety and well-being of camp participants, coaches, rink managers, etc.
  • Participants will not be in possession or use Tobacco products, alcohol, drugs, or weapons while attending any of our clinics

Non-compliance with our expectations is a serious matter. It will result in immediate removal from the program and a total loss of your financial investment, as no refund will be given. We believe in the importance of these rules for the success of our program and the development of each participant.

Closing:

We look forward to working with you and your families in helping you achieve your goals for hockey and life

Sincerely,

Coach Hohmann and Coach Moccia
